Nentra Pazham Pancake (Plantain Pancake)

                                                   Nentra Pazham Pancake


 Nentra Pazham is one of the common types of banana available in kerala. Pazham means banana. here I have combined this fruit with one of the most well known and classic breakfast foods, resulting in a simple, healthy, and delicious food.

Ingredients:

  • Nentra Pazham (Plantain) - 1
  • Egg - 1
  • Milk -1/2 cup (This is how much I use; if you want more, add slightly more)
  • sugar/ jaggery powder - 2 tbsp (Add more if you would like)
  • salt - a pinch
  • wholewheat flour or oat flour - 3/4 cup
  • flaxseed powder - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
steps:
  1. Put all the ingredients into the blender
  2. Blend until it reaches a smooth consistency
  3. This will be your pancake batter
  4. Heat a pan
  5. Pour the batter on to the griddle
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the edges are dry for about 2-3 minutes
  7. Flip and cook until the other side is browned
  8. Repeat with the rest of the batter
  9. Enjoy!
